Javaun found his calling in boxing at 13, transforming his passion into a lifeline amidst adversity. Expelled from school and placed in a restrictive pupil referral unit, he struggled with loss of hope and direction, finding solace only in boxing. London Community Boxing became his turning point, offering not just training but a sense of belonging and discipline. This experience reshaped his life, enabling him to control his emotions and emerge as a role model. Winning the Lawrence Dallaglio Special Achievement Award, Javaun now aims for world championship while inspiring youth that success is achievable, regardless of background, through passion and perseverance.
